- I've always wondered about lubing the starter. I never heard of anyone their starter, but there's plenty of mechanism there to wear and rust. Would it be a good idea to hose it down with WD40, follow

- When they were current the recommendationwas that they shoul never be lubricated because that picked up dirt and they jammed again. Mine started sticking, so I scrupulously cleaned and degreased it -
