I have been racing and improving my TR3 for almost three years with lots of help from the folks in this group. The biggest gains have been with suspension and handling. I have not added rack and pin

I forgot one other item. The standard TR3 front suspension runs straight up. Switching to TR4 upper A arms gives you a bit of caster (3 degrees?) for improved stability.

Actually, you need both the later TR-4 upper A-arms and the matched lower trunnion to move from zero caster to 3 degrees caster. So, you're both right. To elaborate on the "southwick rear axle", a lo

So is there any real improvement from the 3 deg caster ? My understanding is that it mostly just increases the centering force, which doesn't seem particularly relevant to handling as I define it. R
