I can't comment on the original setup, but it's easy to change the 'park' position of the wipers within the sweep. There's a round lid on the gearbox part of the wiper motor, that's clamped in place

Dave, you have bought a '66 TR4A. The final "C" in the commission number CTC 71048 shows that it was built with independent rear suspension. The 71048 means that it was built early in '66. The L mean
