This is something I've been trying to figure out too. I don't have a problem with cutting the console a bit to fit a modern AM/FM/CD. My problem is most of them look like they belong on a space ship!

There is a company called Custom Autosound that modifies Kenwoods, etc. (?) to fit the TR6, and many other vintage cars. They have 3 models that will fit in the original opening in the TR6. I believe

The subject of what radio can go in a TR6 came up recently. There's nothing very special about the holes in the dash support - they're for the 2 knob type radios (versus the flat faced (DIN- mount?))
