- The rear half of the circuit is broken and not enough current is being drawn to actuate the flasher. Look for a corroded connector (most likely) or a corroded ground connection. Joe

- Hi Charlie, It is common for the tail light bulb sockets to lose their grounding connection due to age and corrosion. The original connection was only by mechanical contact of the shell pieces. Clean
