I would strongly recommend bypassing the rheostat, all sort of nasty things can be going on behind there and who ever turns it down anyway? Highlander.

Joe, No, you didn't conect it wrong. If it worked, it was connected properly. Had you connected it wrong, the lights would have been on bright all the time, with no dimming action. Which is how I rec
