So the battery wasn't dead, but after you left it disconnected for a few days, it was. I'd say you've got a bad battery. Now you've got a bad alternator too. Sure, it's possible. It's even marginall

FWIW, I pull the ground battery connection when I disconnect it -- seems to have less fireworks. Actually, I leave it loose enough that I can pull it in a hurry any time. As for DVM... this one is ch

Have you tried this with the starter still connected ? If the light bulb lights when connected from the starter terminal to the starter body, and the starter doesn't crank, then the problem must be
