For the past year or so I've been looking for new seatbelts for my '72 TR6. The ones I currently have are original 3-point belts (in good shape, but 25 years old). I've been reluctant to go to inerti

This brings up the following question in my mind: Does anybody know when the cutover from the "adjust it yourself" to the inertia-style seatbelts happened in the TR6? Even the TRF catalog doesn't see

The 73 TR6 I just sold originally came with inertia reel seatbelts - I believe this was the first model year they were introduced. A friend of mine has has a 72 that doesn't have them and he's prett

Does anyone know if the Moss replacement seatbelts will work with a 1972 Spitfire? I have been looking to replace the OEM lap belts the DPO put in. I have the shoulder pins for the shoulder belts. Th

My TR6 (CC79338U) doesn't have inertial belts. Since it's newer than Dan's, I'd suspect his aren't original. I can't imagine anyone replacing inertial belts with three-pointers. Jim Ruwaldt '72 TR6 C

I pulled the non-servicable inertia reel belts off my "72, and they looked to be the original set. My '72 was built towards the end of the model year (CC85458).
