This may be humorous to some, it was to me. Could not get the light on either, it is obvious Mr. Lucas experimented with the electrical so why shouldn't I. Routed it direct off the glove compartment

Joe and Jack, I missed the original thread on this (I seem to lose a lot of mail, or I'm just not paying attention), but the early TR6 trunk lights came on without the headlamps being on. Later model

My schematic only goes to 1972, so the wiring may have actually been correct. Although, I can't imagine why they would change it that way. Maybe they wanted to make sure that it didn't remain turned

Joe, I think it was visionary on their part - they knew that in the '90s these cars would be classics, and would sit on the show field with the trunks open. They didn't want to run our batteries down
