They can be switched over. Moss publishes the directions for doing so in the MGB catalog. I did this once a couple of years ago when I was switching a pos. ground electric tach to neg. to put in my

Remove the guts from the housing, where the green wire spade terminal on the back of the tach is, inside, it is attached to a wire. Next to that wire is a resistor, What you have to do is.... Unsold

Another conversion is to take a later smaller - grd tach, remove the guts from the housing, a bit of dremel work to the larger housing and the smaller guts will screw right in. Swap the face plate an
