My tachometer comes off of a 1967 Midget donor car, which has long since been stripped of electricals and related labels. I am wondering whether the tacho is pos or neg ground, since I gather that 19

Daryl 67 tachs are (were if not PO converted) positive ground. If it is a large faced tach, it is positive grd. The smaller faced tachs, 68 and up were all neg grd. It should say Positive Earth on th

You probably have a (originally) positive ground tach. They're bigger and should say positive earth on the face. The easiest way to find out if it was switched over already is try to take it apart. W
