Contact Dick Maine Rmbj8@aol.com who's son now runs the business. As I understand it, Dick more than a year to develope his formula for the paint. It is supposed to be spot on for shade duplication.

Hi Greg. I believe Ice Blue Metallic, also known as Healey Blue, was listed as BU02. When PPG bought out the ICI recipes they recreated Healey Blue using modern materials but matched to the original

Hey Mal Sorry to be correcting you like this but DonP suggests that ICI 2697 - Ice Blue wsan't a Healey colour and wasn't a metallic. The correct Ice Blue Metallic was ICI 2301M which was listed as A

I believe the original question was for "ice blue" the non metallic early BN1 colour. We have several cars in the Southern Ontario club which sport this colour. If the request was for ice blue metal
