- Rick and Vance Thanks for the input. I am going to refit the distributor back to where it was when it was running. Maybe I'm too concerned about smooth idling. At speed it purrs. I'll update later. M

- As with your engine the timing marks would only line up with 6 at TDC. When I initially installed the distributor to Bentley specs it was 180 out. I rotated it until I could statically set it to run
