What you need is a MAPP gas torch, it will heat a bolt cherry red in a few seconds, you can also braze with it. They run about $30 dollars at places like Home Depot, the gas is about $7.00 a bottle.

I've had good luck with using a torch simlilar to the bernz-o matic, using MAPP gas. It screws to the bottle and has a self starting ignition. The MAPP is between 6-7 dollars a bottle.All the torche
