According to my manual......The 1500 Midget has a 'Triumph' engine and ( Marina) gearbox. This gearbox uses 1.75 pints ( UK pints) of EP 90 gear oil. The earlier BMC gearbox fitted to the 'A' series

Correct for BMC MG's with the 'A' and 'B' series gearboxes with their gear tooth profile, BUT **WRONG** for those MG's that use the Leyland gearbox with their tooth profile, and those MG's with the p
