It would appear that I have developed a tranny leak. I figure it must be the transmission because the car was in the garage for a week with no oil under it and then I decided to do the routine fluids

only get worse until you replace it. No need to pull the transmission, but you do need to pull the engine, and then the clutch to get at the seal. If you let too much time go by before replacing the

If you mean the engine rear seal, then how does that explain the low tranny oil level? I think you must mean the tranny front seal, which seems a likely possibility. Though I suppose he should first
