As I have my interior completely gutted at present, I'm wondering if it makes any sense to invest in one of the new ABS transmission covers verses the fiberboard original. The original seems to be in

Jeff, if your trans cover is in good shape, I can't see spending the money for an ABS one. Now, if your stock one was in bad shape, I would say get the ABS one. My opinion anyway. John C. Smith 75 Sp

I replaced my falling apart fiberboard with the abs. The new one doesn't come with sound deadening material, but I was able to use the material on the fiberboard one. I used a staple gun to attach it
