Is the Stag's engine the same one that can drop into the later model B without too much hassle? What about the transmission? The place where I will end up buying my MGB has a Stag with some collision

We had one of those <ahem> modified Buggered Eyes here in BC in the GOD (good old days). It was powered by a 215 Buick, though Lord knows how they managed to accomplish that - big shoehorn, I guess.
