Two suggestions: 1 - If you have a helper chock on rear wheel and jack up other , place the car in 4th gear and have helper turn raised wheel while you observe valves reaching desired position. 2 - N

move the car back and forth (with the ignition off and spark plucks removed) in high gear and that will turn the engine.

The books say you can put the car in gear and roll it slowly forward to turn the engine, but this probably only works easily with all the sparkplugs out. I haven't had too much success with it. I don
