Use a Mity vac or similar vacuum pump. Plug it to the vac connection on the advance unit. If it moves the points mounting plate full range, the vac advance piece is working. I don't think you could z

Yes, there is one way that I discovered: Suck on it. If the vacuum unit is good, you will the the arm move back and forth. It really doesn't take much effort. This is easier with the vacuum unit remo
