I plan on running in MPS-G. If I have no luck there I think I'll pull the fairings and windshield and run naked in M-G (somehow I don't think it will be that simple). My odds are much better there (1

Jim, of course its worth it, safety has no price tag, unless your hurt :) and the reward of speed is immeasureable a bike has almost no stuff to be done to make it legal to run just put a damn metal

My valve stems are perpendicular to the rim (straight up or otherwise)and my caps are sealed with an o-ring inside. I don't believe the inner stem will release air at speed with the aluminum cap and

Jim your valve stems are perpendicular to the rim when you look at it, at rest, why dont you spin your wheel up to the equivalent rpm to match 169mph, perhaps on a dyno, then get a strobe light on it

I never said I did not believe the valve stem core could depress at speed. I said "I don't believe the inner stem will release air at speed with the aluminum cap and o-ring." That was the intent of
