Hi all, I was just inquiring to see what you all have used to glue down the vinyl covering on the cockpit surrounds on the TR3. The one over the dash after one season, is coming loose on the corners.

I did the same thing Carl did, bought a can of the upholstery adhesive from Moss, then found the exact same product at my local auto parts store. It was a few dollars cheaper to get it locally. 3M ma

Hi Mike, I'm using DAP Weldwood contact cement for my TR3A interior also. I'm very pleased with the results on the dash and glove box. I've bought some cotton batting and continue to work on the cock

FWIW, I did these using Weldwood Contact Cement about 16 years ago and have not had any problem with adhesion. You're right about getting lots of material on the backside to assure lots of grip. Geo
