Sometime in October my TR6 began making a strange, subtle noise on upshifting. When I depress the clutch to shift from 2nd to 3rd (and then again from 3rd to 4th) I hear a very slight "swish" or "pff

That's the typical sound made by a clutch release bearing (throwout bearing to you American iron-types) on it's way out! Was it replaced when the clutch was done??? Tony Childs 72 Spitfire - FK38809U
