I just had an expensive new Robbins top installed on my '72 TR6 and (oh, so casually) decided to replace the original "chrome" windshield cap with a new one, since the old one was quite badly scratch

The problem is really one of poor after market parts or none. If someone tools up to make something for an old car and doesn't get it right but is still the only source, what dod you do? Do you say n

The slight difference in the w/s trim probably wouldn't matter if you were doing a repaint on the w/s frame. I had the same problem with TRF using the TR6 w/s cap for the TR4A. Moss had a better repr
