Steve's right about the ammeter wires. The shop manual shows then as brown and they should be not smaller than 10 gauge. Dave Johnson

Group, there was actually a wiring harness for the amp meter. Heavy duty thing. I rewired the entire car, and went with a volt meter, that gives you more useful info, and much safer. Larry
