Hi new to this list. Having some trouble with my frogeye. It has a 948 with HS-2 carbs. I syncd the carbs and set the fuel air mixture. But the car won't idle down. Come to a stop sign and the car is

Also; If the accelerator cable is frayed at the carbs (even just a little) it would exhibit these symptoms. I've had it happen several times. Kevin V.

If I soak the throttle shaft with carb cleaner where it goes into the carb body it will drop the idle. I tried sealing that shaft up with teflon tape. So you can't have any leak at all at the throttl
