I just installed a new clutch slave on my 1500 Midget because the rubber seal on the old one fell apart. I've now bled the new slave 5 times and I still can't get enough pressure to engage the rever

John... one of my 1275's was that way... bet I bleed that thing 20 times before I got that last bubble out of the system.... if you can come up with a Mini-vac system they seem to have some value in

The 1500 clutch hydraulics are notorious for this. You'll go mad working a abubble back and forth through the line. Some things I've seen suggested: Open the bleeder valve wide and kick the snot out

Thanks everyone, It looks like I will do best to get a couple more quarts of Castrol brake fluid and keep bleeding that clutch. I can't get the cylinder very high, since the hole in the engine bay is
