I am sure - in theory - they can be, as I believe you can use 87 mm liners & pistons in the engine. There may be a technical reason it can't be done, such as them not being stable enough to rebore B

Yes they can, I did this about 20+ years ago and used +.040 pistons. works out to 87mm. Mine were bored in a lathe and then honed to fit. It's better to do them in the block as it's much easier to ho
