Right after I posted this I noticed the list of problems w/ clearcoats i.e. chips. I did get these on the 84 Caravan (LBC Support Vehicle) but the 75 Midget went away with a BIG chip in the front end

I used Dupont's Chromabase system to paint my 'B. It has a high build clear coat that only requires two coats. I used three as I planned on color sanding and buffing for a more lacquer like finish. B
