Get a copy of the Competition Preparation Manual for the TR250/6. I believe they are available from the Big 3. It's a fairly small book (6x9) 32 pages but it's loaded with good info on modifications

FWIW, when I had my head milled (forgotten how much now, and I didn't write it down when I had it done about 6 - 8 years ago), I found that there was enough adjustment in the valve lash adjusters to

Kastners TR4 comp manual states that as a general rule, the push rods should shortened by approx. 3/4 of the amount that was milled from the head. As a final check, he recommends that with the valve
