"electrically dead" would mean to me that there is no electricity; no horn, no lights, no start, etc. This would not be a symptom of a bad solenoid. Does "did the same thing, but didn't start" mean

No power at all, Start from the battery and go from there, Then the battery cable that runs to the solinod, It brings the juice to the front of the car, Then all the wires that come up fron the start

Well, hitting the solenoid was not fixing anything.... It turns out that it was all a coincidence, I'm pretty sure the ground cable is the problem. I had no power, shook the groung wire and then got

I thought if the solenoid stuck, it would leave everything disconnected. It is electrically dead, no lights, no radio, no interior light, no horn, etc.... It appears to be the negative cable on the
