As Paul Tegler has already implied it is the distributor that is actually in your engine that is important, if you intend to fit the Pertronix to that, not what our lists might say was original for y

I also have the Ignitor and like it a lot. It came with the car. A couple of things. 1. Late 70s cars have 6 volt coils instead of 12, and are ballasted. I don't think the ignitor wants that. However
