I have done a little more investigation into Saskia's losing power It only seems to occur when the engine temperature has gone a little high, like when sitting in traffic. The problem goes away once

What year is the car? What type of ignition? Generally a hot engine is more powerful than a cold one. The only two things that come to mind that can affect performance if the engine gets hot would be

It might be vapor locking (where the fuel in the line gets hot and vaporizes, causing the carbs to starve for fuel). If that is the case, you can try heat shielding or wrapping the lines in some sort

Check the routing of the fuel pipe around the back of the engine, if it touches at any point you could be in trouble. Also do you have a heatshield behind the Carbs? This stops the heat from the exhu
