This the advice I got from TSI over the phone, someone correct me if it sounds wrong. With ~10:1 compression ratio, you can run up to 35 degrees of advance at speed. The curve should start to climb r

I'm sure I don't have 10:1 compression as I didn't get the head skimmed that far. The 45DM4 could be made to work, then, as it has a light primary spring allowing advance to come up rapidly. It also

I'll keep everyone informed on how I do. But I now think that part of the problem with gutless behavior under 2500 rpm has to do with the wrong advance curve in the Mallory. And the "emissions dizzy"
