- I have a loud vibration around 2500 rpm at the shifter of my 70 B. Pushing on the shifter quiets it. Are there shims in the shifter mechanism that could quiet this? Thanks!

- There are a few things that could be causing this. Either the anti-vibration plunger that is mounted in the selector housing (right rear large bolt) is worn or missing, or its spring is bad/missing.
