You have a spring falling out of the center of the clutch disc. It binds the disc to the flywheel. It moves sometimes and will jam others. Sorry, but the clutch needs replacement. Bill Kenyon SRL311

It is possible that the clutch IS disengaging, but the grease in the pilot bearing (or the pilot bearing itself) is causing the clutch to appear to not be releasing. Peace, Pat -- - Support Habitat
