Hello spridgets, by now nearly everyone is familiar with my problems in calibrating my tach, to a dwell tach to emperical testing (measured mile/time)... well.. to add to the problem, which i thought
That means the "Whatchamacallit" is cracked. Seriously, there is a resistor like thing inside, it cracks with age, that is what needs to be replaced. I do not know what it's called, it's a stripped b
Hello Frank, the BIG resistor, brown in color, with stripes, Brown, green, brown, silver, indicating a 260 (or is it 2600) ohm, 10% tolerance resistor?.... .. by the way, the color coding on resistor
Gee guys, I didn't need to learn that. I don't think I want to learn that. I'm still gonna call it a big electronic resistor like thing ;) And it was not the brown resistor, it's a black cylinder sha
Hello Frank, OHHH.... you must mean the .25 micro farad capacitor!... THANX!...... now... how does one remove the needle .. i see the screws holding the dial on, but how do you get the darn pointer o
Use the face plate, unscrew those tiny screws, loose them on the floor, then with a full circle grip just yank the plate, it pops off. Don't use pliers or pry it off, the needle will bend, don't ask.
Hello spridgets, ok, here's the deal,.. i have read that with a 4.22 rear end, 175/70 tires in 4th gear that there are (either, depending upon Paul A. or the tech section on gerard's website) 15.46 o

Do the math, measure the tire's rolling diameter, then..... 20168.115/dia = tire revs/mi tire revs/mi*final drive ratio = rear wheel rpm rear wheel rpm*60/tire revs/mi = mph or to find rear wheel rpm
