I want to remove the temp sender on my 67 1600 to see if the nut is same thread size as an aftermarket gauge I am looking at. it appears that I can put a socket it on it and turn it out. since it see

You guessed it. The nut comes out easily but more often than not the sender is very hard to get out because of galvanic corrosion and other things. IF the sender is impossible to get off from the out
