I just don't get it....Why do convertible owners put the top down but leave the windows up? What's with that? Thank goodness I don't think I've seen a fellow Healey driver doing it......

It's perfectly ok to do. It's even pictured in Austin Healey catalogs of the day (on roadsters) much harder to do. WIth a convertible, you just turn the crank. Wilko San Diego

I used to do that in my BJ8 all the time at night (in the fall and winter) when it was usually at or below 50 degrees. Having the windows up helps to keep warm! Everyone else thought I was nuts for
