Que? Am I reading this right that I could (simply) 'upgrade' my '67 1600 with no emergency flasher to have some? What would be required? A relay, a switch, (?part #'s), & some wires? /// datsun-roads

The 67.5s had flashers not the 67s. Just go buy an emergency flasher that plugs into the cigarette lighter and attaches to the car with a magnet. Simple and effective and cheap. Mike -- Original Mess

I'm not sure about the '67, but my '67.5 has a connector under the dash, near the hood release. I'd have to go look, but I believe it is a 6 pin connector, rather small, about 3/4" square. Mine had

In 1966 4 way flashers were an aftermarket part that was sold in the auto parts stores for $10 or so. The dealer installed them on my 1600, still have them, and they still work. I think by 1966 they
