My 68 MGB had the stow-away top and I loved it. You lose a little trunk space with the top down, but you gain a large stowage area on top of the battery compartment, which is totally concealed by the

I used to be able to do that, but even unclipped at the back it didn't drop down far enough to be able to fit the full tonneau cover as a hood cover for neatness. Then during restoration I worked out
