Kendall,
I finally installed a shroud last year after 7 years without one and was
amazed at the apparent difference in the temp gauge readings. Before, it
showed say 50-70% deflection when hot, and now registers 30-40% deflection.
It doesn't get that hot here in Edmonton, but in a warmer climate it would
likely be very useful. YMMV.
