Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about the rear end noises from
CF38690. Looks like I'm in need of two rebuilt rear hubs. TRF has them
for $250 and Rimmer Bros. for $135. Quite a range in price. Does anyone
know of a quality U.S. rebuilder that charges in the Rimmer range? Or
should I manufacture a flange removal tool and do it myself. I'm not a
great mechanic, but I've successfully rebuilt TR6 engines, transmissions
and suspensions.
I will also have a welder box in the diff mountings while I have the
axle assys. out.
All ideas and suggestions welcome,
