I have a 75 TR6 with 4 speed no overdrive and 195-65-HR15 tires. At highway
speeds (70mph on the speedo) I am running near 4000rpm. I an driving from
Florida to PA for TRF Summer Party in August and hesiatte to run the engine
that long at 4000rpms. The cost of buying a rebuilt overdrive still doesn't
make sense for the limited highway driving I do. Anyone know how much lower
the rpms might be reduced by getting a set of higher profile tires
(205-70-15)?
