check to make sure that there are no burs on the leading edge of the trans 
cone, or if there is undo wear to any of the parts. I had the same problem 
and it trued out to be the sleeve holding the trough out bearing had been 
struck with a punch causing a small imperfection that magnified when it got 
hot and expanded. also use some wheel bearing grease to lubricate the area.
