        John:

I am wondering the same thing. If you mill the head, you
must shorten the push rod side of the valve train by the same
amount. 'Course you could do the ghetto thing and just ignore
the change in geometry and hope nothing breaks.
I did notice in the moss catalog that they sell different
adjusting screws for the older head, and I am wondering if
the screws somehow make up for the need for shorter pushrods.
If the screws are shortened correctly, then can you reuse your
existing pushrods? It seems like it is possible....

        Any one with experience here?

        Vance

My question is that in doing so, do I also have to measure the push rods and
take an appropriate amount from them in order to keep valve geometry
correct? I notice that in the catalogs of the big three, only one push rod
is available. Thanks.
