Two questions on my Six

1)  I am enjoying the glorious opportunity to remove my door panels and
replace the window channels in my passenger door.  On both door I have a
small amount of rust on the inside door skin at bottom.  Is there a
spray or something that will neutralize the current rust and prohibit
future rust from popping up?
 
2)  I have removed the door waist seals and would like to hear, again,
what the best methods people use to get those darn clips back on?
