on my former '69 TR6, I bought the uprated TRF springs front and rear,
switched trailing arm brackets to the "later" design, redid the entire
suspension with all new bushings (stock, not poly), bought NEW lever shocks
for the rear and NEW "stock" shocks for the front (from TRF).
I was very, very pleased with the ride and handling (of course it had been
truly terrible before ... the entire suspension was shot). I never measured
the difference in ride height, but the old springs sagged so badly that I'm
sure the new ones RAISED the ride height on my car.
Many owners on this list want better handling and have gone to
uprated/converted shocks, poly bushings, etc. I don't argue with that
approach, but I wasn't really concerned about ultimate performance and
wanted a safe, fairly comfortable, predictable ride -- which I got.

Marty, I installed those springs several months ago. The lower the car
slightly (claimed 1"). They also aid is a more controlled ride. I like
them very much. I would also recommend upgrading your shocks at the
same time. I installed a set of Carrera shocks, but both Koni and Spax
are excellent alternatives. I've not touched the rear lever shocks, but
they need to be done and you will notice them to be too weak if these
steps are taken.
While there are some who find the change in ride quality to be too
harsh, I find it to be a great improvement; if anything I might want
even stiffer springs and shocks, but I don't think you will be
dissatisfied in the least with your purchase.
