I totally agree with Dick as to the potential for
ignition problems causing the miss. Wiring and
plugs would be my primary candidate there.  There
is one other area that I have seen cause a miss as
you describe.  ...and you don't want to hear it...
But - I have seen a low speed miss under load
caused by a 'weak' valve. That being one that is
burned "just a little". In your case, it may be a
valve that is set to tight and not seating
properly. Try checking the valve clearance and/or
compression and if one is a little low check the
valve clearance on that one.
