Dear Buckeye Triumphs,
Thursday: Rain, followed by more rain. Arrived safely at the Granville
Inn. Still raining?? Made my way over to the reception & adult beverages.
Enjoyed great food & met some very interesting people.
Bought 2 of the last 7 6-Pack Grill badges...see me on e-bay(kidding)
Friday: Woke up...later than most...to find it raining. Found my wallet
driving itself to the Longaberger empire...Man that's a big*#@ basket! Rain
starting to give way...forecast for Saturday...SUNNY!
Saturday: Sunny...perfect morning...hearing that familiar sound of the 6
cylinder...wishing it would go away...late night again. Threw open the
window (silly cause it pulled open) & yelled for quite, but no one could
hear me as their engines were warming. Decided to join in! The show was
great! Even saw a full moon during the day! Went up to the high school for
a little sillyness only to be beaten by the Miles team...next time I'm
bringin' my Cobra ;) Had a great time feasting at the banquet & selecting
door prize goodies...should've seen how excited I was to get a side marker
for my TR250...don't even really need one
Sunday: Another great day, but time to go. Picked up the kids in Columbus
& blasted down I-71. My speedo showed 75mph most of the way down...I
figured it was wrong...wife assured it wasn't??
My thanks go out to the Buckeye Triumphs & the 6-Pack for making my one long
weekend away from the kids an enjoyable one!
